23/4/2020

DECIMAL PRACTICE

Today I practised my decimals at first I wasn't that good but now I have gotten better.
The first time I tried the topic I got 7 out of 10 and the second time I got 10 out of 10.
I found it challenging when there were more than three decimals to add.

fake news

Last week we learnt about fake news. There are some things we can look for to see if things are real or fake. If it was a fake website it probably wouldn't have https of fake name if you look closely. some websites might have links to other websites. Dont always trust one website go look on other sites as well otherwise you might be tricked. some people will ask for your pasword so they can hack you. they might say dear friend instead of your real name.

estimation time

Today in strand math we did a estimation work sheet first I estimated that writing to one hundred would take me 2 minutes but it took me 5 minutes and 6 seconds the difference is 3 minutes and 6 seconds. next I did reading a poem I estimated 2 minutes it took me 2 minutes and 30 seconds. then i did 30 star jumps i estimated 1 minute but it was actually 27 seconds.

my first estimate was not close my second was closer but my third was a little to fast.
the longest challenge was writing to 100.
I think I could improve on counting to a hundred.
