Covid 19 100 word story

 New Zealand has been put into lockdown for three days. If you don't know what lockdown is then search it on google. During lockdown you have to isolate yourself from the world. There are some exceptions such as family members that you live with, shopping for food and doctors/hospitals. But make sure to wear a mask if you dont you could spread the virus that put us into lockdown in the first place. And if you have the covid tracer app use it as much as possible. Otherwise like I said it will spread, that's how we got it.

not including these words that im write here that was 100 words. and remember stay safe and if you are sick stay home

Nz Olympics Athletes

Today I am posting about the NZ Olympic Athelete that competed in the Tokyo Olympics.

Fiji wins gold

 hi today we did work about Fiji winning the Olympics for sevens rugby here is my work

Olympic Gold was won by the Fiji Rugby Sevens team in Tokyo last evening (NZ time).

The game was against Fiji who ended up winning Gold Medals.

Fiji’s captain is legend Jerry Tuwai. He said this win was very special because they had to go into quarinteen after Easter. They have not seen their familly since.  They spent most of that time shut up in a hostel in hotel in suva, training in a gym they built in a garage

When they were on their way to Japan the Fijian tam got stuck on a cargo plane Along with some crates full of frozen fish

These experiences helped them form a very tight group of people which makes for a great experience

we put gummy bears into different solution:

1: water

2: salt and water

3: sugar and water

 I like these logos because i have heard of them my favorite. The FedEx because between the e and the x there is a arrow pointing forward. And the other one is the nike symbol because there is a tick saying its the right way

Taste and smell

Welcome to my blog this week we have learned about the tongue and where certain taste buds are like where you can taste sweet, bitter, sour, salty. Those are the tastebuds we have here is a picture to show our tastebuds.

In our research, we aimed to figure out taste buds where these are some methods.

2: try to remember the taste

3: feel the texture of the food

some fun facts about the human tongue

the average tongue is about three inches long

your tongue has between 2000 and 4000 taste buds

taste buds are designed to keep us alive

pocket rockets

 during science, we have made pocket rockets

they are basically mini rockets that you could make at home. It is really cheap and easy to make. Here how it works

you get a small cylinder with a bottom you take off the top put baking soda in the bottom and then pour vinegar and quickly put the cap on and flip it then it should go flying.
