Growth vs Fixed

What is a fixed mindset? Well a fixed mindset is a mindset that people across the world have but it is where you think you are born with talent. And you can't learn anymore than you know.

What is a growth mindset? A growth mindset is a mindset where you try and try until you get that skill.
Somebody with a growth mindset will try there best every day.

To make sure you have a growth mindset you need to try your best and not give up. You'll also need to practice to get new skills. Here are some examples.

1: Try your best and don't give up
2: Try something new as often as possible
3: If you have a growth mindset life becomes easier
4: You will need to practice a lot

Its important to have a growth mindset because life becomes easier for you. Remember that and before you say you can't do something give it a try.

Early encounters in aotearoa

today we learnt about the first explorers to come to New Zealand.

the first person apart from Maori was Abel Tasman and he arrived in 1642  He called New Zealand Nova Zealandia. The next person to arrive to NZ was James Cook and he arrived in 1769. He also brought a navigator called Tupaia. The Europeans brought pigs rats and diseases  and they also brought muskets witch is a old gun. Soon after that the musket wars started in 1830. The population after the wars was 40 Maori to 1 Pakeha.
